Founded in the late 1970’s by Elam S. Nolt, Nolt’s Excavating has been servicing excavating customers for nearly 30 years. Elam began the excavating business with a skid steer loader and a small six-wheel dump truck. During the early years the business operated under the name Elam S. Nolt Skid Loader and Backhoe Service.

Two generations later, Elam Nolts’ son Steve Nolt and grandsons Josh and Vince Nolt, have joined the company. Elam has since retired from excavating, leaving the day to day operation of the business in the very capable hands of his family.

January 1, 2006 the company officially changed its’ name to Nolt’s Excavating, LLC. Along with the new name, the company developed a new logo, and a several more pieces of excavating equipment were added to the fleet. This expanded the excavation services the company offers. Nolt’s Excavating now offers track excavator, track loader, skid steer loader and trucking services.

The goal of Nolt’s Excavating is to continue facilitating the growth of the company through maintaining high quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
